Awuah Dankwa Education Foundation (ADEF) Extends Scholarship Offer To 7 Other Towns In Atiwa West

Mr. Samuel Awuah Dankwa, a native of Awenare in the Atiwa West district in the eastern region who doubles as the founder of Awuah Dankwa Education Foundation (ADEF), pays a courtesy call on the Atiwa West DCE, Hon. Akomaning Asamoah to support the fight against COVID-19 in the district and expand the reach of Awuah Dankwa Education Foundation in the district.

During the meeting, Mr. Dankwa said he has gone this far in life due to the education he was fortunate to have received. He added that he believes the NPP government through its free SHS education policy is helping to alleviate poverty in Ghana by enabling the underprivileged children to also have free access to SHS and higher education and this is in line with the mission of his education foundation.

“We have rewarded 48 students in Akyem Awenare with learning materials and have 1 student we are sponsoring through SHS to the University. We are expanding the reach to the other towns in the Atiwa West district this year. Some of the towns are Akyem Akrofufu, Abomosu, Akyem Banso, Bomaa, Kwabeng, Tumfa, Akyem Akropong” – Samuel Awuah Dankwa said.

ADEF is driving the development of Atiwa through education by providing the needed support to educate the underprivileged children in those communities. The foundation has so far rewarded over forty pupils with learning materials and is sponsoring the brilliant but needy students in the Atiwa West district once they complete their BECE, through SHS till they complete their university education.

Mr. Samuel Awuah Dankwa is also an astute entrepreneur and owns several businesses under the MARKETICONS GROUP OF COMPANIES. His businesses include Marketicons Limited, Distribution Icons Limited, Monstermarkets Limited, Smash Global Limited (a company assisting tertiary students to get practical on-the-job experience) etc. He is 41 years old and hails from Akyem Awenare in the Atiwa West district.
